Solar Control Unit (SCU)

Overview

A solar heating system can provide an additional source of water heating to supplement a central heating system. The solar control unit's function is to optimize the transfer of solar heated hot water, monitoring of the temperature of the water system, and control the associated valves and pumps. The required functions and performance capabilities vary depending on the scale of the system.

Renesas' comprehensive lineup of low-end 8-bit to high-end 32-bit microcontrollers provides solutions to meet your application needs.
